WATER TREATMENT

Condens water treatment equipment interconnects with the functions of scrubbers and heat recovery equipment. We supply:

Pressure filter

Scrubber waters contain solids which in circulating water are abrasive to equipment. Where water circulation is connected to heat recovery, the solids must be separated without cooling the water flow.

For efficient separation of solids from water streams Condens Heat Recovery has a simple self-cleaning pressure filter, where the normal residual concentration of filtrate solids is less than 10 mg/l water. The separated sludge is removed from the pressure filter automatically.

Clarifier

In a clarifier the circulating water is cleaned of solids to a technically and economically optimal level, depending on the application. Clarification can be enhanced by flocculation and sedimentation chemicals. A basic clarifier application would be clarification in the water sump of the scrubber. The sludge is separately removed by a sludge pump from the bottom of the scrubber.

 

Separators for heavy metals

When effluent water is contaminated with heavy metals, these can be removed by precipitation. Solids separated from the water in this manner are then removed from the water by clarification or filtering.
