Stripping
Vaporising a dissolved component in a water flow is called stripping. The component to be stripped is transferred in the stripper (scrubber) into a gas flow. Any vaporizing component in a water flow can be stripped into a gas flow by manipulating the pH, temperatures and compositions of the contacting flows.
